Circumcision: 'Penises are a taboo subject' | Modern Masculinity

In this episode of Modern Masculinity, Guardian journalist Iman Amrani speaks to men about the issue of male circumcision. A third of all men around the world are thought to have been circumcised and while the rate in the UK is relatively low at 8%, around 70% of adult men in the US have been circumcised. Iman speaks to men in London and New York on either side of the debate about whether male circumcision should be allowed to continue, including Friday Night Dinner actor and comedian, Tom Rosenthal. She also speaks to mohel, Cantor Philip Sherman, who has carried out 20,000 brises, filmmaker Eliyahu Ungar-Sargon and men out on the streets of New York.
