Disability welfare cuts: ‘They want me to sit in my wheelchair and do nothing’
Disability services in the UK have been consistently cut after 14 years of Tory rule and austerity. Now disability welfare payments are being targeted for a fresh round of cuts by Keir Starmer's Labour government. Musician and activist John Kelly is concerned that politicians are still not listening to disabled voices and what they need to live an independent life.
